Local Food tour, London 2012

Thursdays, 8.30 - 1.30 pm, group size 4 - 8, cost per person £55 - £85 (including food tasters and lunch at a choice of restaurants)

Thursday is a great day to discover local produce markets in London. we meet at 8.30 at London Bridge and head over to Borough Market where traders delight in discussing their produce and food expertise. Cookery demonstrations also take place on a Thursday. We'll spend an hour or so before heading over to Covent Garden's 'Real Food Market'. This is now known as 'London's Larder.' Food tasters will be offered along the way and lunch organised at a venue based upon the groups preference. For those of you who are able we recommend the walk across the Thames to Covent Garden. The views of London are simply spectacular.

Participants are advised to bring along a back-pack or shopping bag. Please note that if you intend to purchase food items, stall-holders usually accept cash only.
